How the leading LA model scout resets every morning for whatever the fashion world might throw at her. Spoiler alert: it involves dragon blood and body-rattling coffee.

BED

What do you wear to bed?

I tend to sleep naked. It’s hot in LA.

How do you dress your bed?

Always in linen sheets.

What is on your nightstand?

Lots of books, lavender and eucalyptus spray, and Liz Earle balm.

How many hours do you sleep?

A solid 8 hours.

What time does your alarm go off?

Between 6am and 7am. I chase the sunrise.

What is the first thing you do on waking?

Reach for the phone to check emails. Terrible, I know.

BODY

Do you work out?

I religiously swim 50 metres at a great outdoor pool in Santa Monica. Swimming is great for breathing and zoning-out. Vinyasa yoga is also fantastic. I try to do 5 - 6 sessions a week.

What is your first drink of the day?

Herbal tea. It soothes me and starts my day off right.

What is for breakfast?

Boiled eggs. I like the simplicity of it, and it keeps me going without making me feel full.

FACE

What is your morning beauty routine?

I hop in the shower and wash my hair after the pool with Bumble + Bumble hair products.

I love Sisley moisturizer, Origins face wash, and Bumble + Bumble Invisible Oil. I always finish with Rodial rose lip balm.

What are your go-to makeup products?

I’m not a huge make-up fan – it’s all about skincare for me.

What is your emergency product for a tired face?

A fantastic Dragon Blood Face Mask by Rodial or Aesop’s Rose Oil.

WORK

What is the first thing you do?

Reach for the phone and check WhatsApp messages and texts. There’s so many ways for to be contacted now, so I work my way through all of them.

What is the first thing you read?

All my emails. I miss a lot through the night as I work across many time zones with clients around the globe.

What is top of your to-do list?

To catch European clients before they go for the day! It means that everyone in LA is secondary until late afternoon. The routine is usually, European clients then NYC and ending with the LA clients.

What is your 10am pick-me-up for energy?

Coffee Almond Latte although it makes me rattle with anxiety!  I try to stay clear of it and opt for a pomegranate juice instead. I also like a slice of toast with almond butter or marmite.
