Here is some Coachella fashion inspiration PLUS Elle’s tips for arriving looking and feeling your very best.

How to Travel Welle

“Over the years, I have had to travel for work (and pleasure) to some fantastic locations,” says uber flyer Elle Macpherson. “It comes with its challenges, and the main one is how to arrive at the other end looking great and feeling my best.”

Hydrate & Nourish

“First things first!” says Elle. “Being properly hydrated and nourished makes a huge difference to my health, energy, vitality and immune system, and helps cleanse the digestive system, ignite my metabolism and buffer excess acids. I keep my regime super simple and always nourish my body from the inside out.

For me, beauty comes from the inside out - so first things first - SUPER ELIXIR Greens. Our ultimate ingestible beauty formula is just the right blend of 45 premium plant-based nutrients that work together to address acidity in the body and nourish right down to cellular level. Because of its high quality and carefully curated ingredients, it provides a real efficacy. I won’t fly without my SUPER ELIXIR travel sachets tucked safely in my makeup bag for quick pick-me-ups. I have a SUPER ELIXIR before I board, whilst I’m in the air and another as I’m landing. See you later jet lag!”

Pack hand luggage only

“I use a Rimowa cabin bag and feel so good if I can fit everything in for a week’s travel. I love to travel knowing I am not dragging around much stuff. It means planning and choosing only my favourite things that mix-and-match, like a Zimmerman dress for day to evening, some easy-to-wear athleisure wear from P.E Nation, and some good basics by Isabel Marant. I make sure I keep my accessories and add-ons to a minimum. I never take off my Cartier love bracelet, Luis Morais beads and vintage yellow sapphire ring, and always carry a pair of Celine, Persol or Tom Ford sunglasses, broad-spectrum SPF sunscreen, Lucas Papaw for my lips and cuticles, a good book, and a hydrator bottle with cold water and my SUPER ELIXIR.”

Prep your body before you board

“For me, exfoliating, moisturising, and hydrating are key for getting my body holiday-ready. Because skin is the No.1 detox organ, I prioritise exfoliating once a day and dry brush from the toes-up for circulation. I love our WelleCo Japanese Salt Scrub. On my face, I sometimes use a glycolic wash or a deeper exfoliator from time to time like Dr. Sebagh which is efficient yet gentle. For hydration, I use all organic products where possible. India Hicks and Lost Explorer products are perfect and just the right size for traveling.”

What to Wear

“I dress simply when I fly,” says Elle. “An Isabel Marant or Celine t-shirt with jeans and a Brunello Cucinelli or Celine cashmere knit. On my feet, flats or boots. I’ll also carry an Hermes Birkin or Debonair basket and a cashmere scarf that acts as a blanket.”
