HOW TO SAY 'NO'

It’s a two-letter word that can be difficult to say- ‘no’. The pressures and increased speed of everyday life can sometimes mean we aren’t even aware of how unbalanced our lives have become. Living a slower life can mean we are able to appreciate those life defining moments with the ones we love, and not take life for granted. When you slow down de-stress and take time to reconnect with yourself, you are able to commit to relationships and responsibilities in a more productive way.

Learning to say 'no'

Fear of conflict and lost opportunities are some the reasons why we find it hard to say no. Worrying about a prearranged or possible commitment that makes you unhappy can result in a decreased quality of life. Whether it’s at work or at home, being unable to say no can make you exhausted, stressed and irritable. However, you are the only one who can identify your priorities in life.
